|Health 2.0 Sacramento presents: from Quantified Self to Quantified Selves
Join us at Sacramento Hacker Lab on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 for an evening of socializing and talks focused on how researchers at UC Davis are leveraging Quantified Self technologies to improve the health of individuals.
The quantified is a movement to gain self-knowledge through self-tracking with technology, and incorporate data streams from tracked aspects of a person’s daily life in terms of inputs (e.g. food consumed, quality of surrounding air), states (e.g. mood, arousal, blood oxygen levels), and performance (mental and physical). Quantified self-advancement allows individuals to quantify biometrics that they never knew existed, as well as make data collection cheaper and more convenient.
Join us and learn more about the world of the quantified self, challenges related to collecting quantified self data en masse, and how UC Davis researchers are leveraging quantified self technologies to deliver personalized health interventions.
